PM's down again. Went to this cementery in Cheras with a few of the PM-ers.

PS "screen" shot was taken via Mike's FE2 with E2 screen viewfinder and the focusing of the flower is by Mike on a Nikon Series E 100mm f/2.8 lens with 3 closeup filters... +1, +2 and +4.

Audi, railway tracks and oldies

Went with Azrul to shoot Audi at Glenmarie today. While shooting, I saw a railway track at the bottom of the hill that seems odd. After all the shooting was done, we hiked down the hill and explore it. Turns out to be an abandone railway tracks. Funny thing was, there was still electricity running at the signal lights (as shown in pix). Due to the muddy condition of the tunnel, we couldn't explore futhur. Would definetly return back there and explore when we are more well equiped and have no 5kg large format camera load to carry.

In the evening, went to KL with Azrul to get his Sg bus tickets. We had later took a walk around KL. Took some interesting photos that will be another upcoming series. Now if only I have my webpage editor programme...

NAG finally..

My car...
...Son of a Dawg's car
Anna...looks real diff fr her darker side
View all 10 photos...
Okay..today had been a long tiring day..

What better way to start my day by being bang on my car by a drunk driver and later see the pathetic idiot crashing himself furthur down the road? For all the trouble that he had cause me (car repairs, insurance, back injury, police reports....), I do hope he feel some form of remorse. If he don't, God help this world. Such a loser he is, not to mention the friends he has that create such lies to help cover him.....oh, wait, I got carried away again, didn't I?

Anyway, was driving down to NAG for the laman seni KL when this bloody son of a dog bang me from the side. I had a very right mind there and then to ram him when he refuse to stop, but of cause, being such an angel on that day, I decided not to and just stop and take photos. Viola, after taking photos and driving again, the fella had actually drove and crash furthur down the road. I park and walk to see what happen. That fella stink of alcohol. Bloody fag couldn't even recognise me as the person he just bang. What really angered me was how his friend tried to fed me with a pathetic story saying that the car wasn't the one that bang me but was another of the same colour and same make. Hmm...prehaphs he was drunk too?

After that manner of starting up my so lovely day, I headed down to NAG. Not much to elaborate here, just a simple stall set up, chit-chat, meeting people and of cause, shoot interesting photos. It's a disappointment that none of my prints got sold.

Okay, this will be a short one..I rather let the photos speak for themselves.

I was given a scholarship by Gamuda to pursue my medicine course. Today's the award giving ceremony. Had to perform after the ceremony. Being a guy with frog troat, I let you guess how the singing went.

Preparation

National Art Gallery (NAGa)
Stall 15b
Model
View all 5 photos...
15th is just a matter of days away...

I went down to NAGa with Matt to secure the stall for this coming Sunday and also view the position of the stall. Typically, we are suppose to share this wide space with another artist. In the end, after dividing that "huge" space into two, our own space is actually quite small considering the amount of photographers that will be sharing the stall with us.

After NAGa, headed over to MV for a mini gathering-cum-briefing with the other photographers. Those that turned out were mza, ted, alan, photonut, maxby, thalis and ez.

Yeah....our artworks will be on sale! Good luck to us
Thanks to you Eugene and to Matt for making this possible and for summoning up all effort especially to deal with the govt agency like NAGa.

Setiawan(gsa) and curry mee and smirkiness

The curry maggie
View all 5 photos...
Okay..this coming 15th I would be manning a stall at the open market in National Art Gallery with Matt and some of the other PM-ers. Followed Ted, Mike and Ez (Ted's asst) to a shop in Setiawangsa to get some of my prints done.

Left home at 1.30pm and met up with them at KL sentral at 2pm. Got stuck in a jam. Thank God there's Wham's "Wake me up before you go go" to accompany the jam. So, as Ted put it, we were jamming in the jam.

I got two photos to print for the stall. Both of them from my grace series. Enlarged them to 11"x14". Gosh they are just lovely. I luv them so much. Anyway, Ted brought one of them from me. Oh ya, the mamak next door the photoshop serve great curry maggie. It's a change for me since I started this vegetarian diet of mine. For once, it's healthy and tasteful.

good luck on the sales of yr prints dude. Tue 10-Aug-2004 02:44
